Start the day by visiting some local villages on the way to Banteay Srei. Have lunch at a local restaurant for exotic cuisine. Ta Prohm Temple and Takeo Temple are your next stops before some leisure time in the late afternoon.

This morning it's on to the Khmer Village and you can enjoy the view of the rice field and lots of palm trees with great fresh air. Take a boat trip and get lost in the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia.

Then take a short flight to Luang Prabang. After checking in to the hotel, you will go climbing up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa as well as catch a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset.

The evening is free for your own exploration. Local night market would be a good choice.

As you wish, observe the alms-giving procession in the early morning (5:40), from which you'll have an understanding of local people's piety towards their religion. This morning set for the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Visoun. Tour the Royal Palace Museum (which will be rescheduled if it happens to be Tuesday, the close day) before continue driving to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can chill with a refreshing swim in the turquoise pools or a walk along the forest trails.
